In the upcoming film The English Teacher, Julianne Moore plays Linda, an educator who is unmarried and pretty much all alone. But things change when one of her favorite former students Jason (Michael Angarano) returns to town as a struggling playwright. His father (Greg Kinnear) wants him to get serious and go to law school. But Linda won't let that happen, and decides to stage his play at the high school with student Halle (Lily Collins) as one of the stars. But all doesn't go so smoothly...
